Strategising with communities to develop cultural products for multiple markets, including tourism and other jobs and enterprise outcomes.

Empowering women, men and youth through arts and cultural heritage, My Pathway supports local people and new enterprises to draw on their local customs and traditions to build sustainable futures through capacity building programs in employment skills and business training.

In the remote and low resource regions where My Pathway operates, original artworks and cultural offerings form the basis for solid community development program activities that educate individuals and community groups in arts enterprise - ethical service, operations, marketing and distribution - and, also encourages connection to country for indigenous participants.

Regional programs

Local hubs to national networks, My Pathway supports cultural heritage enterprise development through the Community Development Program with skills building, vocational education, business development training and networking activities.

Indigenous business startups also benefit from My Pathway training activities which can be found from east to west, including Central Australia, and in the remote regions of Cape York Peninsula and the islands of the Torres Strait.

Our Community Development Program activities help us to identify potential social enterprises to support infrastructure growth throughout our regions, further developed by our Non-profit Foundation: Community Owned Enterprises (COE).

Arts culture

Our extensive resources and business networks include strategic promotional channels such as the Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) – Australia’s largest annual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders arts industry event and traditional arts market attracting thousands of global visitors – exposing our community development hubs to international audiences and opportunities.

Social enterprise opportunities already currently exist across the region - and My Pathway celebrates and supports the opportunities through our many services, including artistic offerings - ceremonial education and performance of significance, celebrating the regional cultural traditions – in addition to tourism related services, and other industry sectors and niche business markets.
