Leaders in Workplace Gender Equality

Updated: Jun 22

My Pathway has achieved the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) citation for the third consecutive year. Issued by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), it recognises our commitment to gender equality to help our people thrive at work and home.

We join a group of 119 national recipients in 2019-20, putting us among some of Australia's top employers for gender equality. We are proof of the positive impact that can be made by a Cairns-based business working in regional and remote communities.

Director WGEA, Libby Lyons said the citation had set a benchmark for employers that continued to raise every year.

“Since its inception in 2014, the WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) citation has provided a rigorous and evidence-based guide for employers to chart a course towards achieving gender equality in their workplaces," she said.

“This year, we strengthened the eligibility criteria by placing even greater emphasis on accountability, outcomes, evidence and internal reporting processes. I would like to congratulate all of our 2019-20 EOCGE citation holders for the extra effort and commitment it has taken to meet these additional rigorous requirements. All these organisations are at the forefront of the momentum for change towards gender equality in Australian workplaces. These industry leaders are showing other Australian businesses how to create a better and more equal future for both women and men.”

My Pathway is awarded the EOCGE under parent company Enterprise Management Group.
